OUR FINE CHOCOLATES

Created onsite Leura, in the beautiful Blue Mountains, our chocolates are handcrafted using FAIRTRADE CERTIFIED Belgian couverture chocolate.

We are passionate about our fresh chocolates at Josophan's, and refuse to compromise quality to extend the shelf life of our chocolates. Our chocolates, being freshly made, without the use of artificial flavours or preservatives, are best eaten within

7 days of purchase.

 

We create our exquisite centres using fresh, natural flavour infusions, infusing cream with fresh herbs like basil and mint and premium ingredients including saffron, coffee beans and the incredibly aromatic Tahitian vanilla bean, to name a few. Beautiful blue gum and yellow box honey, local hazelnuts from Orange, and fine chocolate imported from France and Belgium blend together to make our extraordinary chocolates.

Mayan Chilli - Dark Belgian chocolate ganache infused with chilli and spices ... leaves a secondary tingle/warmth in the throat

Cinnamon & Nibs - Dark Belgian chocolate (70%) ganache, with cacao nibs, cinnamon and crunchy vanilla sugar (inspired by Mayan grinding of cacao beans with cinnamon & sugar on stone metatae)

Mango & Chilli - Creamy ganache with fresh mango puree, speckled with chilli. Representing Jodie's experience of the 40°C+ heat of Central America, contrasted and balanced by cooling, sweet mangoes in season

Vanilla Bean - Dark chocolate ganache infused with aromatic Tahitian vanilla bean

Sao ThomÉ - Dark chocolate ganache created with Single origin chocolate (70%) from the Island of Sao ThomÉ

Cointreau - Dark chocolate ganache with orange liqueur

Raspberry - Dark chocolate ganache with fresh raspberry puree

Honey & Saffron - Dark & milk chocolate ganache infused with saffron & Yellow Box honey

Los Ancones - Dark chocolate ganache created with single origin chocolate from the Dominican Republic (67%), from boutique French chocolate manufacturer Michel Cluizel

Hazelnut praline - Milk Belgian chocolate with hazelnut praline (roasted ground hazelnuts and sugar) and crispy wafer **NOTE: Contains wheat

 

GIFT BOXES

Our chocolates can be purchased individually, or boxed in custom made white glossy boxes, tied with French  double sided satin and organza ribbons. 

We can courier our chocolates, in a Josophan's bag, with same day door-to-door delivery to Sydney, Central Coast NSW or Wollongong for a $15 delivery fee. Chocolates are collected from Josophan's in the morning, and delivered in the afternoon, therefore orders need to be placed by 5pm the day before delivery.

During warmer weather, our chocolates will be couriered in a re-usable Josophan's insulated bag with gel pack, for an all inclusive price including delivery of $19.95.

As leaders in our industry, proudly, our passion and commitment has been recognised as winners and overall Champion Chocolate exhibit in both the 2006 and 2008 Sydney Royal Show. We won 5 medals from our 5 exhibits at the 2008 Sydney Royal and another 2 medals at the 2007 Sydney Royal Show.
